Jisung is a little bold.
Which was odd, for him at least, because he had never been described as such growing up, quite the opposite, actually.
So when his power developed and he expressed his interest in becoming a superhero, let's say that the people around him didn’t see it.
But Jisung wanted it, and damn it, was he good.
Proving that he was made for it, that he was worth it, was the easiest thing he had ever done.
So he acted like it.
But he is no longer a trainee, he doesn’t spend his energy on fake missions. He is Han, the superhero two years into his professional career, with a real name for himself. And more importantly, he is still Jisung, an imperfect, real human.
“Seungmin— No, please, please— Seungmin?” He pleads watching the puddle of blood grow.
And maybe everybody, including himself, has been wrong.

Summary
Chan is certain Hyunjin and Jisung can't stand each other.
He knows there’s not something as a perfect team, and ups and downs are to be expected. But this is different. The heated gazes, the snarky remarks, they are too real.
The tension is always present.
But most times it is just that. A constant ache in the back of his mind that he can ignore.
Until is not.
He just has to breathe. Breathe through it as the doctors tell him about Hyunjin and Jisung's injuries, the consequences, and following treatment, he nods at the incomprehensible words. Breath as he answers his phone and tells a room number to his agent that he actually can’t recall.
Breathe in.
Blink every 5 seconds.
Breathe out.

Superhero Bang Chan is the perfect leader, in control and centered in compensation for his unruly, chaotic team. He comes out unscathed from the most violent and volatile situations that, in this case, have a face and name: Hyunjin and Jisung.

“Enough!”
“Or what, prince?” Jisung lowers his voice mid argument, like that makes him comply with Chan, but hes still too close to Hyunjin.
Hyunjin flares, but he looks at Chan and his teeth grit together.
“Get out of my face.” Hyunjin bites out.
“I said enough.” Chan interrupts for the second time. “God, what am I going to do with you?”
It had been a good day, with a little stumbling steps in the way, but their mission was a success at the end, and he would rejoice in the outcome of it if it was not because of this. The tension in the room is tight and pester. They should be freshening up, washing away the pressure of today and calling it a day.
They don’t have the best of lucks lately.

Superheros Han and Hyunjin despise each other, and make an agreement to pretend they are fine for the sake of their team. But as they learn how to become better heroes, promises get made, blood gets spilled, and death knock on their door…

It was entirely too weird to be on the other side, to receive the cold looks instead of the warm, affectionate ones, to have his words answered with an annoyed huff, rather than an amused one. He reached out to take Yeosang’s hand, wondering if Yeosang was going to snatch his hand away, but in the end he curled his fingers into a fist by his side, changing his mind.
Seonghwa and Yeosang owned almost two dozens of feeder houses and a dozen of blood banks all over the county, had exclusive contracts signed with three sorcerers and pulled strings in a few hospitals and morgues. Combined with their scandalous love story, it made them the power couple of the underworld.

Summary
The next few moments happen in slow motion. Yeosang sees Jongho - joined by Seonghwa who’s stopped fruitlessly firing into the trees - holding San back, knocking him to the floor so he can’t escape. He sees Mingi drop to his knees, he sees Hongjoong begin to rush towards the cockpit.
No one is paying him attention. No one sees him make his decision. No one knows what he’s about to do.
He tightens the strap on his bag to make sure it won’t fall off, and - before he can really think about what he’s doing - he immediately breaks out into a sprint towards the ramp that is slowly starting to retreat up into the side of the ship. It’s stupid, it’s dangerous, but he can make it. He will make it. For Wooyoung.
He thinks he hears someone shout his name just as he hits the ramp, but he pays them no mind as he jumps, sailing through the air as he leaves his home and his family behind.
Stranded on an alien planet, way out of his depth. All for one person.
