Summary
A sense of deep foreboding fills Shouyou. "You didn't...you didn't commit a crime, right? I knew your anger issues would get us in trouble one day. Kageyama, talk to me!"
“I did something much worse,” Kageyama replies ominously. Shouyou inhales shortly, about to enquire further when:
"I slept with Oikawa-san."

Summary
Oikawa was in his space so suddenly he jumped a little bit, earning a few stray chuckles. A glaring reminder that they weren’t alone here. He was pressed against him, hand reaching down to guide the arrow and Kageyama’s own up to string the bow gently. It was calculated, perfect. If they messed this up now it would make tensions and pressure rise even more. Kageyama was about to take the most important shot of his life and Oikawa was guiding him through it.
He would have laughed at how strange it was if he could breathe properly.
“You’re shaking,” Oikawa noted lowly, slowly guiding them to aim.
Kageyama plastered a polite smile on his face to try to keep up appearances. “You would be shaking too if you didn’t know this was coming. They’re all counting on this one single shot.”
---

Summary
Kageyama picks up the phone after the fifth ring. “It's half past three in the morning.“ is the first thing he says to Oikawa in three months, words a little slurred. “I was sleeping.“
“Tobio.“ answers Oikawa, who is blessed with a selfserving selective memory and will forget about the timezone problem immediately. He leans back from where he is sat on the ground until his back hits the wall. “How is Italy?“
There's the sound of shuffling on the other end of the line. “Italian.“
All roads inevitably lead to Rome.

Summary
Kageyama Tobio was born in a Shinto shrine in Kyoto, raised in Sendai, and educated in Tokyo. For his entire life, he’d rejected being locked into any sort of constraining label: traditional omega, modern athlete, national treasure. He could be a top professional athlete and still visit his family’s shrine every summer. He could remain unmarried and childless but still embrace being an omega. He could love and hate his overbearing family at the same time. It had taken him a very long time to accept himself, but he’d succeeded in the end.
When Oikawa Tooru re-enters his life at the Tokyo Olympics, he brings all the insecurity and unstable misery of Tobio’s teenage years back with him.
