Which was concerning. There were actually a number of concerning things right now. Not least of which being the stranger in black jeans and hoodie sitting beside his bed staring at him with glowing purple eyes and a knife in his hand. However, most concerning was the fact that he hadn’t woken up before the man had made it into his house and that he still couldn’t hear the man’s heartbeat. Then, of course, his brain caught up to what was said.
“I live alone,” Derek mumbled, dumbly.
The man frown and his eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. “You live a- then who were all those people walking around your loft?”
