Summary
Dancing in the dim lighting of the moon and the stovelight clock that glares an ungodly hour in the morning back at them, Sapnap dips Dream in his arms and presses a kiss to his lips. The blond’s arms loop around his neck, and Sapnap can tell he’s smiling by the curve of his lips against his own.
It’s not that he’s realizing he’s in love with Dream; no, he’s known that for years. It’s just that he doesn’t know anyone else that he would want to dance in their tiny kitchen with at five in the morning; no one else could possibly fit so perfectly in his arms than Dream. It’s just that the love he harbors for the blond all but triples every time he speaks, he laughs, he smiles, he exists. It’s that simple.
Sapnap loves Dream just for existing. He takes a moment to thank whatever exactly it was that brought Dream into his life; whatever miracle, whatever good deed he did to earn it. He wouldn’t change a single thing.
Simply: he’s in love.

GOD the last sentence. depression destroys so many things and nothing breaks my heart like a fic where one person tries to love the depression away (unsuccessfully bc that’s not how depression works) but this. this!!! it’s acknowledged by the characters and the author and it’s just good and healthy. chefs kiss (do they really?) i could read a whole series of the angst and fluff and recovery of these two it’s just too good

Summary
The summer before senior year, Sapnap decides to go to his first high school party. He intended on going for the experience, but when he meets a stranger from Florida who sticks out like a sore thumb, the night turns into something a lot more than he'd ever expected--something that will stick with him for years to come as he grows up and grows out of the fear and repression that made up his teenage years.
“Have you ever kissed a boy?”
It feels like everything stops—the noise of the party is muted this far away, there’s no breeze to break the stillness of the air.
“No.”
“Do you want to?”Bookmarked by nowimseeingyou

It became a tradition at some point, that every summer without fail, Dream and Sapnap would meet each other and spend their firsts by the glistening lake near Dream’s house, showered by the shimmering sunset.
