(About thirty minutes later, a dazed Hyunwoo stumbles out of the bathroom, towel barely wrapped around his waist. “We’ll have to try that again,” Hoseok murmurs behind him, licking his lips. “When the floor isn’t so slippery.”)

Summary
Hoseok feels the pout form on his lips before he realizes it's there. As he watches the gentle rise and fall of Hyunwoo's chest just a few inches away, he thinks that, aside from the usual praise about how handsome he is, there’s a certain peace that drapes over him when he sleeps and he looks even more stunning. But the thought is immediately followed by one of ridicule because Hoseok really needs to stop pining so hard after his best friend. Hyunwoo doesn't love him like that. Hyunwoo isn't into boys. Hyunwoo is straight. He doesn't love Hoseok the way Hoseok loves him, the way Hoseok wants him to.

Summary
“Just saying, if you’re taking another hit, you should share it with me,” Mike says, and Will slowly tilts his head, drinking in every word. “It just makes sense. Like, mathematically.”
Will’s reddened eyes narrow, bewildered. “Mathematically?”
“If there’s two hits left, we’d each only get one,” Mike explains. “But if we shotgunned, we’d both get two.” God, this is the best idea he’s had in ages. He should’ve stolen Will’s weed, like, months ago. “That’s like, bang for your buck. This is simple math, Will Byers. Keep up.”
In which it’s well past midnight in New York, Will can’t sleep, and Mike feels like they barely know each other anymore.
So, they get a little high. Mike is very normal about all of it.

Summary
Carlton loves his boyfriend. He does so, so much. To degrees that his friends have sometimes called ‘unhealthy’, though none of them have ever been with anyone as pretty or as intelligent and fascinating as his Will.
Every long term relationship needs to spice things up every once in a while, right?

Summary
“Are you talking about…?” Will lets the question trail off, trusting Mike to know exactly what he means.
“Yeah,” Mike worries his bottom lip between his teeth. “Yeah. I’m talking about our conversation by the tower, Will.”
Hearing his name like that, deliberate, weighted, makes Will’s chest tighten. Mike only does that when something really matters. And this matters.
“I—” Will starts, then exhales in shaky relief when Mike cuts him off. Thank God. He has no idea what he was about to say. He’s barely holding himself together.
“Just let me finish, okay?” Mike insists. Will could swear he shifts closer. “I mean… I can’t be more than your best friend. I just can’t, Will.”
The words hit like a punch, and before the ache in Will’s chest can fully set in, Mike rushes on.
“But I want to do things to you,” he admits quietly, honestly, “that no best friends should ever want to do to each other.”
Or Mike is a repressed POS who wants Will without having to face what wanting him actually means.

Summary
“I’m sorry, I’m always late. I’m so sorry.”
Will shakes against him. Then, muffled against Mike’s chest, “Stop apologizing.”
He pulls back just enough to look at Mike, eyes red, lashes clumped with tears, but steady. Certain. “You’re not late,” he says. “God, Mike, you could never be late. Not for this.”
