“Zoey is right," Celine agrees. "And I know you think you were managing fine on your own, but trust me. When you eventually get popular you'll wish you had a manager." Her eyes are completely serious, like she's speaking from experience.
The girls slowly turn, spotting Bobby (a fair distance away and out of earshot, to be fair) grinning at them. When they make eye contact he begins joyfully waving like he had consumed a whole mug of coffee exactly 10 seconds ago.
They wave back. "Hi Bobby."
Oh boy.
or; the girls love bobby, but they can’t tell him they’re demon hunters. what shenanigans occur from this?

The first thing Jesse smells is the acrid scent of smoke and the sharp tang of gunpowder clinging to his sweaty skin, remnants of the explosion still lingering in the air.
The first thing Jesse tastes is the metallic iron of his own blood on his cracked lips. He runs his tongue over them, wincing both at the bitterness and the sting of his saliva against the torn skin. The flavor lingers in the back of his throat and he nearly gags on it.
The first thing Jesse feels is the ground trembling with the weight of the destroyed storm’s remains as they fall to the ground. The withered amalgamation of blocks that once formed its body crash down, crushing the damp grass beneath.
The first thing Jesse hears is an insistent, ear-piercing ringing, which gradually fades into a dull throbbing pain in the back of his skull. The second thing Jesse hears is… nothing.
