Summary
After an attempt on not just his own life, but his daughter's, Stolas Goetia realizes that someone is attempting to usurp his power, possibly to the detriment of all of Hell. He's left with only one option: he and Octavia must go into hiding while the identity of their assailant is discovered. It shouldn't be too hard to lay low... of course, the plan requires them to live disguised as imps for the foreseeable future, holing up in a small apartment and working at a little office called IMP.
It's unfortunate that Stolas's new boss is not only the most well-connected demon he's ever met, he has no fear, he doesn't care how much attention he draws, and he's absolutely, breathtakingly gorgeous. None of that leaves the promise of a quiet, on-the-DL sort of life.

Let's take a look at Joffery, and how bad he actually is versus how he is perceived.
Because the King of Westeros is universally loathed, and he deserves it. I mean sure, he's a thirteen year old kid from an abusive family, but he definitely deserves our contempt and not our pity, right? Right?

Claude wants him. He has to, right? He’s so patient, and careful, and meticulous with his details— there was no way he would do so much unless he cared, if only just a little bit.
Or Alois lies to himself, and only gets hurt in the process.

Alois is good at working people. Innocence for the Reverend, playful childishness for the Viscount—
