Before he could properly think about it, Jaehyun punched the numbers on his phone and pressed the call button as soon as the requested song was over, waiting patiently. Chanhee wanted stage name suggestions? Jaehyun was more than happy to give him one; one that surpassed all the ones he had been suggested so far. One that Chanhee would undoubtedly like.
Chanhee’s voice echoed in the empty room.

Jaehyun shrugged, a lazy smile on his lips. "It's simple. Your lips on my lips."

Jaehyun sat down next to him on the bed — not too close but not too far — before slightly leaning closer. The moment his eyes met with Chanhee’s teary, glistening ones, his eyes softened.

Chanhee pouted, his lower lip slightly sticking out, before his lips stretched into a small smile. It was barely there, yet it was enough for now.

The facial expression that took place on Chanhee's face the moment he looked at his wrist was priceless. He was definitely not expecting to see some messily scribbled words that seemed to be the answers to the exam — or more so the attempted answers. His soulmate was cheating on the exam and the answers weren’t even correct.

A second passed and Chanhee noticed Jaehyun eyeing the shot glass beside him. A wave of disappointment washed over him and he sank to his chair, nervously fiddling with his bracelet. He totally understood Jaehyun, though. He had no right to judge him as he, too, had previously decided to take a shot instead of answering a question which was silly in comparison to this one. Admitting something like this in front of your ex required bravery, something that not everyone had, so maybe taking a shot was the best thing for the both of them—
"Yes. More often than I would like to admit."
