Joshua sighs, turning his head to look out the car window. His brain is going into overdrive. His plans are all waylaid.
There are faint sounds - a concerned crowd with endless questions, police trying and failing to assuage the crowd, and a city that continues to move on, regardless, with its traffic and rush buzzing.
However, Joshua always has at least one back-up plan ready at hand for emergencies.

Summary
The last time Jeonghan remembers feeling that complete lack of uncertainty was only minutes before the world ended, the land he was standing on collapsing around him in the first gasp of the apocalypse. Jeonghan had been too weak to stand, would never have made it out had Seungcheol and Joshua not practically carried him the whole way. Jeonghan knew then, if only for those few minutes, that he could trust Seungcheol and Joshua with his life. He wants to return to that moment of clarity, comforting despite its context, but he can’t. The only way to even get close to that again is to find Joshua and Seungcheol.
