To make matters worse, Koschei's lake was stirring and new alliances were being formed in the dark, and it was now a rush to the finish line to stop Koschei from escaping. Alone. That's all Azriel was. All he was destined to be. His family didn't need him. Not anymore. Not truly. Not outside of work. How much longer would this continue until Azriel was forgotten entirely?
Eris couldn't stand the sight of Autumn in such a state. It hurt him to see such a beautiful land run dry by such arrogant, greedy bastards; he had to kill his father, soon. Something was stirring. Something bigger than Beron. Something to do with a deathless god and a cursed lake. The alliance with Night was doing little to help him, and he was starting to struggle with holding up so many lies and façades. How much more could he take before he broke beneath the weight of his own schemes?
