in this moment, this time where he lays his eyes on Gidel– who still trembles and clutches tightly to the hammer in his hands, and meets his gaze with eyes beginning to water– Fellow has to take on the role of being a dependable brother. and as his brother, of course, he needs to ward off all the monsters that lurk and bring fear to his little brother's gentle heart.

Gidel shakes his head again.
“That’s…okay! That’s alright.” He claps his hands. His pacing continues once more, Gidel watches, enamored with the movements. Even takes another bite out of the bread as he’s watching.
This guy’s funny. He thinks, and he smiles to himself.
