Eddie doesn’t like seeing others touch what’s his. Simple as that.
Tommy Hagan being the ‘other’ in question doesn’t make Eddie want to be any nicer.

Summary
Everyone has habits, good and bad. Steve has a few, obviously.
Some good examples include getting to work on time and being able to keep track of the all kids on an outing.
Some bad examples include biting his nails when he’s nervous and smoking without Robin catching him.
But now he thinks he can tack one more on to that list: staring (or thinking about, or hanging out on the couch watching movies with (then accidentally letting their hands brush while trying to get comfortable)) at one Eddie Munson
Christ he’s screwed.
—tags will be added as story goes on. dont know how long this will be!! enjoy:)

Summary
Eddie fell in love with metal music when he was younger. Remembers the evening perfectly: what he wore, what his uncle played for him, and what song specifically made him fall in love with it.
So, bare with him, when he tries to explain to you how the metal to kpop pipeline is a real and dangerous thing.
-
Or: Eddie’s biggest guilty pleasure is kpop and he is TOO embarrassed to tell his resident Swifty boyfriend about it.

Summary
Steve’s never really had more than one good thing going for him at a time. In '83 and '84 it was mainly Nancy. By '85 Robin and arguably Dustin had taken up Steve’s free time. But now, in the fall of 86’, Steve had quiet a number of things that helped keep his anxieties at bay (for the most part).
• he’d been taking night classes at the community college in town, and fairly enjoying them
• Keith had promoted him to assistant manager, which gave him a better salary and hours
• all the kids (teens) we’re able to finally enjoying a well deserved normal year of school
• and the days he spent happily curled up next to Eddie heavily outweighed the Bad Days that were bound to happenThe Bad Day's, when they did come, were a force of nature that Steve would handle. Alone.
So obviously, things were going to crash and burn eventually, right?
