    Summary

    A series of works exploring Pin-Lee's friendship relationship mutual administrative assistance with Dr. Gurathin. Working together, socializing, mutual goading, all those kinds of things.

    Starts from their first meeting in Preservation and goes until... well, we'll see.

    Title is a reference to chapter 3 of "Indelible". And it's not that kind of hopeless. No actual whump here. But never forget that the Corporation Rim is terrible.

    At least 4 works planned (including Expedited and Indelible). This series will contain at least 6 works. All of them will be from Pin-Lee's perspective. Timeline ranging from 6 years pre-canon until All Systems Red/Season 1 of the show for certain.

    Though Dr Gurathin eventually accepts the addition of SecUnit a.k.a. Murderbot to PreservationAux, and even assists in its recovery & rehabilitation after the corporate gunship debacle, he never warms up to it like the others do—at least according to our unreliable narrator, Murderbot itself!

    Let’s assume Murderbot is right this time. So what’s up with that??

    This story takes place (chronologically) after Fugitive Telemetry and just before Network Effect.
