Summary
Marinette Dupain-Cheng thought becoming Ladybug would make her stronger. Adrien Agreste thought becoming Chat Noir would finally make him free. Instead, Marinette was one bad day away from collapsing under the pressure of leadership and Adrien only felt like a real person when he wore the mask.
Paris worships its heroes, but behind the suits are two exhausted teenagers carrying the weight of a city that keeps asking for more. As akuma attacks grow increasingly dangerous and the line between civilian and hero begins to blur, Ladybug and Chat Noir find themselves depending on each other in ways neither of them expected. But freedom comes with consequences, and the more he and Ladybug rely on each other, the more dangerous their partnership becomes.
They were never trained to handle the pressure. They were never taught how to fail. And they were definitely never supposed to fall in love. Adapting the original concept of the show, a complete rewrite of season one and onward of Miraculous Ladybug for older audiences with darker themes, slow burn ladynoir, and consequences that actually matter.

Summary
Clarke sputters an indignant laugh as he takes her elbow and steers her away from the doors. “You won’t let me out of the palace and you’re calling me a difficult person? You,” she fumes, “are insufferable.”
Bellamy merely grins. “Now that’s no way to talk to your husband.”
Clarke forces herself to stalk away before she can give into the urge to throw her glass of wine at him. She doesn’t know why she bothers, though. Somehow, none of their guests seem to notice the clear antagonism between the king and queen, or maybe they just don’t care. And why should they? The two of them are just husband and wife.
They’re not actually expected to like each other.

Summary
“There’s no one else to live for anymore.” Clarke utters those words without too much emotion. They’ve had time over the years to reflect on all the people ripped away from their lives. It’s no longer a fierce, stabbing pain, just a kind of endless ache that surges and subsides with every breath they take. After all their efforts, they failed. The story of the Skai Kru would die with them. “We’re the last of our people.”
Bellamy finally looks up at her tone of voice and after a pause he says, slowly, “We don’t have to be.”

Summary
After accidentally revealing their identities in less than ideal circumstances, Adrien and Marinette must navigate their newfound relationship as both partners and friends. Becoming best friends was a quick process, but when romantic feelings begin to bleed into what's supposed to be a platonic connection, their friendship starts to change in more ways than one.
Surely it can't be that hard to hide their feelings from their best friend?
(A post-reveal, pre-relationship fic full of romantic tension, best friend shenanigans, and a whole lot of dumbassery.)
