Now Des is stuck as an unwillingly ascended demon with an unresponsive rider. Des may be struggling after outliving yet another rider, but being eaten by a saint and dissolved back into chaos isn’t her preferred outcome either. But maybe, just maybe, the Lord Bastard has more grace for His demons than any of them ever realized.

    Book 3 ends with a unique and SOLIDLY satisfying surprise twist, which I will very carefully not spoil here, but I can VERY enthusiastically recommend this series as a whole. Exemplary work as always, but those ending paragraphs and end note elevate the whole experience even further. I cannot say WOW enough. Don't cheat, read the whole thing, Entirely worth it. ♥️
