Silver laughed, the pain in her side momentarily forgotten. “This is amazing! Wait, no. This is, uh, pretty bad actually.” Her voice lowered into a mumble. “All of the endings are super dangerous and… the Void… Grand Mother Silk… ooh, this is bad, isn’t it?”
She glanced around with the look of someone who knew it wasn’t going to end well. “This is, like, really bad. Pharloom ends up getting wrecked no matter what you do.”

The thing is, she's read the wiki, watched the playthroughs and knows how it all ends.

Kai and Nya had stuck together, Jay was staying at the scrapyard, Cole was camping around the city border, and the green ninja stubbornly stayed with Wu.
The former ninja (except Lloyd) had unanimously agreed to split up, putting their time as a team on hiatus to… process things.
It’s been one year without the others.

Summary
Lace looked to her right.
Hornet wasn’t moving.
Lace was a little dramatic at times, yes. She and her sister made up for Mother’s stone-cold demeanour with their theatrics and banter. The hunter herself even lamented on how annoying she was to her face. More than once.
Despite that, it wasn’t too far off the mark to say that seeing Hornet like that made Lace's heart drop.

Set after the events of Act 3, Hornet and Lace get captured and sent to the Slab, where they must work together to break out of the prison and find out what's going on
