Summary
With the break nearing an end, Wednesday realises the dread she has for the upcoming semester. Back to back nightmares put her in worse shape than she knew she could be in. While her family pays her concern and her friends disrupt her with unanswered questions, Wednesday is desperately trying to distract herself with something. Anything. Though, the universe took that ‘Anything’ and ran with it. Upon arrival at Nevermore, Wednesday finds her obsession with her roommate growing stronger each day. Scared for her sanity, on top of it all, Wednesday’s visions progressively get worse and worse to the point that they are hurting her and causing side effects even when she’s not in them. Not only do they get worse, but become constant. The Nightshades have to find whoever is making Wednesday's life a living hell, find the correlation to Wednesday's surprise-stalker threatening all of them, and stop them before a vision might be her last.

Her tiny body wanted to weep, cry, wail for her Bruce as he gently pulled her into his arms. Hot tears cooled on her cheeks. She wanted to tell him everything, how much she missed him even though she'd never met him before, even though he had no idea who she was.
"Mb-bh—" she tried, as Batman settled her against his chest, wrapping her in the cape. Her lips felt unwieldy, thick and numb. "Bhu— brr—"
But she'd practiced. She'd practiced his name so many times, every night since she fled the man who'd created her, since she saw the life she once had will have flash through her mind as though remembering a long, long dream. But it wasn't a dream. It was her past, and also her future.
She refused to wait for it.
