They’re in the middle of checking out when Cameron notices. “Wait, why do you need two hazelnut spreads?”
Their clerk scans the first one. Kirsten waits until she’s got the second one in her hands before saying, “Well, one for my place, one for yours.”
“I already have some at my place.”
“No you don’t.”
Cameron halts, a tomato in his hand. “What do you mean I don’t? I just bought one last month.”
Kirsten plucks the tomato from his hands and puts it on the conveyer belt.
“That was last month,” she says, when Cameron doesn’t move.
“Who goes through that much hazelnut in a month?”
“It was a very stressful month.”
Or another one of those five + one fics: five times Kirsten and Cameron acted like a couple, and one time they actually were.

Pepper tried to kiss Jose today, which went about as well as you can imagine. They’re sitting it out in opposite corners–Pepper had to storm right off into some left over electrical wire, wouldn’t you know, and now we’re having a mutual lesson in both work place safety and how to respect one another’s feelings. I’m being very productive.
Silver is up to his eyes in craftwork, now that it’s out that he can do anything besides moon after your mother. I know that’s a fucking weird thing to bring up, but being caught up in camp life means committing yourself to the oddballs. Juniper is taking real well to whatever herbal shit Lincoln keeps going on about, and Sousa continues to trail after Raven like a lost puppy looking for its owner. Raven, predictably, is living it up.
Fallon is surprisingly perfect, and me and Miller are considering the benefits and drawbacks of sending her out on a solo run. Danger in relatives, you know?
Monty says hello, about twenty different times, and Octavia says fuck you? But only twice. I’m just the messenger Clarke. There’s a lot more to pass on, but if I tried to include everyone you’d never make it to the end of the letter.
Life is pushing forward. We are well.

The words ring in the emptiness of the Demon Subdue Palace. Any possessions once held here have long since been looted or defaced, leaving only black stone covered with smears of red.
Wei Ying’s ghost flickers. He is nothing more than a pale shadow, a human shape that is so incorporeal simply looking from the wrong angle will dissipate him like early morning fog.
You couldn’t. You had your rules. If you had come, they would have killed all of us, he says, and Lan Wangji shakes his head.
“No,” he manages, broken. “No. It does not matter. Wei Ying. I miss you.”
He has never, in any moment, missed anything more.

Summary
Wei Wuxian gets caught sneaking into Cloud Recesses.
But since he can't tell the truth - that he's just here to deliver his teacher's most recent love letter to her soulmate who's stuck in a cave - he tells a lie instead. He says that he's a Jiang disciple that had arrived late and so had snuck in through the gates. He hadn't expected the lie to work, sure that it would unravel as soon as they found a Jiang to verify it, but instead Jiang Yanli backs up his story, and even adds to it.
Which is how he ends up masquerading as the first disciple of Lotus Pier while trying to figure out how to get out of Cloud Recesses without anyone discovering that he's the disciple of Baoshan Sanren.
