Maybe Akk should strip off the cowardice he uses to protect himself and everything that is too delicate for his clumsy hands to handle. Maybe he should tear down the remnants of the wall Ayan’s been steadily taking apart, brick by brick, over the past year, with unyielding confidence and endless patience and undeserved gentleness. Maybe it’s Akk’s turn to offer something of himself without Ayan having to fight him all the way for it. Maybe they don’t need to fight at all, anymore.
