He sighs, grabbing the envelope and handing it to him. Bender whistles.
“Oh, what? Does poor wittle Brian have a B? Or, God Forbid it, a-” His voice dies on his tongue as his eyes scan over Brian’s report card. He skims over it a second time with furrowed eyebrows, a third. Then John looks over at Brian, who looks damn close to tears.

It wasn’t all holding hands or hugging (although some of it definitely was), but more being pressed flush against each other. Side to side, they barely pulled apart to celebrate.
