Holland March wasn’t exactly who Jackson Healy thought him to be upon first impression. He had come to realize March was quite smart and great at what he does (though the man was still a fool all the same). He had also come to learn some other things about March over time. Mainly:
1. Holland March was a brat.
2. Holland March loved getting Healy to pay for things.
It wasn’t as though Healy cared much, though.OR: Healy and March experience a hot day in LA and confront some feelings.

Summary
Part of him reckons they're here to buy something to use on him too, which makes him breathe faster, feeling much like an animal caught in a hunting trap, watching it's incoming demise. He blinks and he's managed to stumble outside, shakily lighting up a cigarette. Maybe Healy was right, but he doesn't want to stay around to find out, even now that he's stopped feeling like he's being held at gunpoint.
He can't stand seeing the sign, shivering despite the relatively warm weather. Healy is making his way back towards him, box in hand. He looks slightly sheepish, and Holland bitterly hopes so for plunging him into that with no prior warning.

"Just my fucking luck the universe saddles me with two of you. Emma reacted the exact same way when she found out I was pregnant with Holly. I'm telling you the exact same way except she hit her head on the way down and when she woke up she forgot what the doctor said so I had to break the news to her again and guess what she did next! Guess!"
"Based on her previous behaviors and my own current experiences," Jackson says, groggy and out of sorts, "I’m assuming she passed out again."
"Bingo!" March points a finger gun at him and winks as he shuts off the engine and hops out of Jack's car. He leans through the open window to ask, "You remember what the doctor said, right? I don't have to repeat anything."
"No, I think I'm all caught up on the situation."
so holland's gotten himself knocked up with jackson's baby and it's all pretty complicated except in all the ways it's all pretty simple
