Summary
On October 31, 1981, Harry Potter defeats Voldemort. Only this time, when Sirius crashes his bike into the Potter’s garden, he finds that nobody is home. No James. No Lily. No crying baby. Just a hole the size of a crater where the cottage used to be and more questions than answers.
Six months later - after Sirius goes to prison, after Peter escapes, after Remus loses everything - James Potter walks into Gringotts bank, half out of his mind and fixing to rob the place.
Seven years later, James is this close to getting his hands on the Mage’s Monocle. It’s too bad his luck just ran out. Then again, it’s not easy robbing trains as the Ministry’s number one most wanted criminal.

Summary

Sirius Black was never sorted into Gryffindor. To protect the only family he had, Sirius was sorted into Slytherin, and nothing was the same. He kept his head down, and kept his cards close to his chest as he took the Dark Mark, dropped out of school and eventually sold out his entire family and Death Eater intel during the first war. 8 years later, after fleeing to Greece with his brother and focusing on nothing but literal home improvement, Sirius finds himself back in London and enrolled in Adult Education courses to finish his schooling--including Defense Against the Dark Arts taught by none other than Remus Lupin.
Sirius could fix anything. Sirius could take care of a home, take care of his family, take care of an entire wizarding world. And Remus? He could take care of Sirius.
Rated M for swearing and some hefty dom/sub dynamic (they eventually fade out with the evolution of the fic but it is there)
