Summary
“Yep, that’s Jake,” Jay had told him once, pausing the accursed video Jungwon had taken of the experience to zoom in on the stranger’s face. “He’s one of Heeseung-hyung’s friends. Don’t know much more than that. Seems cool.”
Standing before Sunoo now, Jake definitely does appear “cool,” in some sense of the word. He’s older than Sunoo – likely a year above him, at least. His stance is relaxed, his expression chipper, and he seems to actually want to be here, which is more than Sunoo can say for his past group project partners. Of all the people he could have been paired with for this final assignment, this certainly isn’t a bad one to land with.
Now if only Sunoo hadn’t drunkenly waxed poetry about the guy’s bone structure to his face at a random party surrounded by multitudes of people.

Summary
Sunoo, when Riki first meets him, has an unfortunate haircut and platinum hair with dark roots growing in. There is a sunburn across the bridge of his nose that he's decided to highlight with some sort of shimmery makeup. It makes all of him glisten in the sunlight, like he's not really there, like he's a mirage

Summary
Dead Week is living up to its name, and Heeseung, a fourth-year undergrad drowning in final papers and caffeine, is about to hit his breaking point. When a late-night FaceTime study session with Jay and Jake spirals into delirium, Heeseung jokingly wishes he could sell his soul to avoid his academic doom. But what starts as a desperate joke quickly turns surreal when a demon named Jungwon suddenly appears in his dorm room, claiming to have the solution to Heeseung's problems—at a price, of course.
Or: Heeseung accidentally summons Jungwon, a cute little demon who claims he can finish all of Heeseung's final papers for him.

Summary
But that’s only the beginning. The person at his side he was kissing so ferociously at the party has yet to play a part in Riki’s tale, and we’re just barely getting started.
You know how friendships either end up in pairs or threes? How the latter never really works out in the end? It’s odd because according to Google, trinities can symbolize a bunch of things. Like past, present, and future. Or reduce, reuse, or recycle.
Okay, this is getting off-track. Point is, that person wasn't the first, nor the second, they were the third.
Three people who all stem from different points in his life. Yet, still have their part to play in the show.
Or: In true Ariana Grande fashion, Nishimura Riki learns that one had taught him love, one had taught him patience and one had taught him pain.
