my 2nd career-ending fic with shane :’) each chapter aches so so good. the ghost of your past returns in the form of this shadow shaped like love. i fuck with being in shane’s mind here. but also i wanted to give him the best hug. and with him haunting ilya’s narrative was pretty wild to me.
