“The bed..” She starts, but her voice cracks before she can continue. Peter’s head snaps down, eyes widening at the tears that have sprung in her eyes. He’s stopped his motion now, just holding her hands in his. He gives them a squeeze, a reminder that he's here. She’s safe with him.
“It’s too soft.” She croaks out, clearly fighting the tears from spilling. She bites her lip in an attempt to stop it from wobbling. Her eyes move over to their joined hands, trying to focus on that instead of what’s making her cry.
“Oh, Mora..”

“This is the campus tech center, how can I help you?”
“Shit. Shit. Shit.” She muttered. She took a deep breath to try to compose herself, “Hello. This is, uh, Caitlyn.”
“Cupcake? Again?” She could almost hear Vi smirking. “Don’t get me wrong, I love talking to you, but I’m getting kinda worried about my work qualities.”
Out of the corner of her eye she could see Jayce mouth ‘cupcake’ with a questioning look on his face. Deciding to ignore him, and the redness on her face, she replied, “We both know this laptop is basically ancient. You’ve been a huge help. It just– it died again.”
“Ah, so you’re not just calling to hear my voice?”
“Haha. Very funny.”
When Caitlyn's laptop stops working right before her deadline, she's forced to call the campus tech center for help. Luckily, a mysterious Zaunite is willing to help.
