In which Lae'zel takes it upon herself to reclaim Bing Bong back from the claws of Avernus because justice indeed needs to be served, and she will begrudgingly take the position and complain all the way. On her journey, she meets a slew of characters and enemies that will maybe help or hinder her goal, while at the same time recognize that the drive that keeps pushing her could be related to developing feelings for a certain cleric. Takes place sometime after the events of the High Roller's DND Baldur's Gate Oneshot.

Summary
((SPOILERS THROUGH ACT 3))
“It would seem our guardians are sloppy,” Shadowheart snarled, “since you have the energy to still cast spells.”
The blade withdrew, and the prisoner’s breathing slowed - her blood, just as red and warm as Shadowheart’s own, pooled beneath her and slowly dripped off of the table onto the purple marble floor.
“Your name,” Shadowheart snapped again.
The prisoner hesitated.
“Lae’zel,” she said.

Shadowheart's triumphant return with the Githyanki artefact is muted by a lukewarm reception - in her absence, apparently, the cloister had taken heavy losses from an apparent Githyanki assault. When the acolytes capture a Githyanki, they assign Shadowheart with ripping the truth from her lips.
But something's wrong. The Githyanki seems... familiar, somehow. The Githyanki seems to know her in a way that's impossible - in a way that she can't remember being true.
