Summary
To his right, a door suddenly slid open, and out stepped Kita-san, accompanied by an eddy of heat from the kitchen and a mouthwatering scent.
“Oh, Atsumu, hello,” he said. He was wearing a blue apron, shirt sleeves pushed up past his elbows, and from the sweat on his brow and the brush of pink across his cheeks, it was obvious that he’d only just stepped away from the stove.
“Hi. Hi, Kita-san,” Atsumu stammered. His own face was turning red, too. It must have been from the heat.
At the tail end of his second year, Miya Atsumu helps an old lady with her shopping, eats a lovingly home-cooked meal, and completely fails to realise his own feelings.

Summary
His point, before he forgets it in favor of lamenting how unfair life is, is that he’s a good-ish person who would’ve been much more prepared to adjust to dorm life on his own if he’d just eaten his twin in the womb when he’d had the chance.
Especially if dorm life involved a very attractive roommate that he totally didn't have a crush on, not even a tiny bit, no sir.

Summary
"So Shinsuke went to her and tried to help by making faces and all 'cause the mother was busy getting cash out of the cash machine outside the store, but, yanno, the baby didn't laugh. She did stop crying, to his credit, but didn't laugh either, so when Shinsuke tried again to get a smile from her, she, oh—" he breaks into laughter, "— ya wouldn't believe what she did. She threw her rattle at Shinsuke, and only then did he really give up."

Summary
There it was. He’d cracked it. That seed of a revelation had sprouted and bloomed, and now bore fruit in the way that Atsumu blushed right up to his dyed roots - in the way his mouth parted so sweetly and so obediently beneath Shinsuke; in the way he took a single shaky breath against Shinsuke’s skin and let it all out in a sharp, desperate, wanting moan.
It wasn’t just Shinsuke being mean to him, although Atsumu certainly seemed to like that too. It was Atsumu being good for Shinsuke. It was Atsumu having to work for it - having to work for his reward at the end, all the sweeter for his pains.
Kita Shinsuke (27), Inarizaki grad, rice farmer, visiting his boyfriend in the city, negotiating a brave new world of kink.

Summary
“Hey, Kita-kun.”
“Hmm?”
“One day, you’re bound to lose everything just like I did.” Gojo starts. Slowly, he takes off his blindfold as eyes as sharp as ice cut through the shorter. “When that happens, I want you to keep moving forward and continue to fight for what you believe is right. Let go of negativity – negativity is a curse.”
Kita Shinsuke is a nameless Zenin. He didn’t inherit any of the clan’s techniques. He manifested at a late age. But he’s still a Zenin – blood ties never die.
And as a Zenin, he’s bound to lose everything.

When the MSBY Black Jackals learned that not only was Miya Atsumu apparently engaged, but that he also had an actual human child, they were expecting to meet a Mini-Atsumu. A terror child.
To the sheer bafflement of the entire team, what they actually get is decidedly… Not that.

Summary
When Kita, the Omega King of Inarizaki, needs to demonstrate his power to the rest of the court to prove he has the mettle necessary for rule, he picks Atsumu to help.
Atsumu is his most dedicated Knight, with a not-so-secret fondness for the King. He's willing to do anything for him, even debase himself in front of the court.
(Luckily, he finds that he likes it, perhaps a little more than he should.)

Summary
An idea crosses Shinsuke's mind. A ludicrous one, but one he cannot ignore. One that might be the only solution to reconcile his desires to both help Atsumu and ease his heart.
"Why don't I spend your ruts with you then?" Shinsuke says.
Shinsuke offers to be Atsumu's rut partner, believing the only intimacy he can have with the alpha is physical. Things go alright at first, until Shinsuke learns that sex isn't enough to quell his aching heart.

Summary
Sakusa’s eyes are very dark naturally, sucking in all surrounding rays of light and crushing them in his pupils. For an athlete, he is rather pale. His lips look very pink in comparison. Atsumu is suddenly catastrophically aware that in this instance, ‘accent’ is a euphemism. “Good enough for your Olympic-size ego, Miya?”
(In which Atsumu realizes that he is attracted to Sakusa Kiyoomi in the most inconvenient way possible.)

Summary
“(Y/n)-san,” Kita whispers, low, just for you. Your eyes flicker nervously up to meet his, heart beating so wildly in your chest you feel like you’ll explode. Any minute now. There’ll be nothing left for him but little bits of nonsense. “I know I have no right to stop you… but please, if you’d be willing to wait, just a bit…”
Kita pulls both your hands together now, away from both your shared marks. He holds them in both of his and he gazes at you the entire time, a man truly from another era, from a lost era of things so hopeless romantic and earnest you feel like there’s nothing you can do in the very face of it. Kita brings your hands up and he presses a kiss to your knuckles, peering up at you, eyes like honey, voice soft and warm and everywhere around you.
“Would you give me the chance to show you my worth?” Kita asks.
Ah, that’s it. Your heart really can’t take anymore.
