Summary
Geto Suguru lives by one simple rule: Don't fall in love with anyone you fuck. It has always worked for him. Until he starts wanting more from someone he was never supposed to want, someone he never even touched and isn't even apart of the rule. No matter how badly he tries to pretend it doesn't matter.
Suguru believes he can handle it, but the more time he spends with him, the harder it becomes to ignore what he's feeling. And this time, walking away might not be an option.

Summary
“You’re playing father figure,” Suguru snapped. “It’s not subtle. You…” He sighed and avoided Satoru’s gaze as he muttered the next words under his breath, “You pity me. It makes me fucking sick.”
Suguru kept his gaze away from Satoru as he heard him slowly approach. His footsteps were soft, before Suguru felt a gentle finger lifting up his chin. Satoru cupped his jaw and turned Suguru’s face until they were making eye contact. Distantly, Suguru realized that this was the closest they had ever been in proximity to one another.
“Suguru,” Satoru said, his voice strangely soft. “Baby. I don’t pity you. I worry about you.”
Suguru moves out at 19 due to problems with his family. His new next-door neighbor is Satoru, a man in his early 40s, who finds that he wants to care for Suguru in ways that no one has ever done before.

Summary
“She won’t stop crying.”
It’s Suguru’s first time hearing the rich, warm timbre of Gojō Satoru’s voice in almost a decade. There’s a huskiness to his voice now, a rasp that wasn’t there when they were teenagers terrorizing their teachers and classmates together, a depth that makes Suguru’s pathetic heart skip a beat.
When he was in the driveway, clutching the steering wheel like a lifesaver barely keeping him afloat, Suguru thought himself prepared for this moment. Thought he could handle seeing his former best friend. Thought he was over his what-if, his what-could-have-been, his almost forever.
All it takes is one look at the baby fussing in Satoru’s arms to prove him wrong.
After eight years apart, Satoru and Suguru finally find their way back to each other, but is the time that has passed and the secret between them too great to overcome?
