He glared at you. It was tiring you out, having to gauge his expressions based on his eyes alone. You stuck your spoon in your mouth to keep yourself from digging the hole any deeper.

“I’m afraid of not being in my body.” Inori confesses her fear, the only thing that holds her back from the life that she wants.
“You mean dying?” Chiaki asks, looking confused. “We’re all supposed to be afraid of that.”
“No,” Inori says, before saying, “well, yes, but I meant that feeling of being outside of it. Not in my life, I guess.”
“You mean, not in control of what’s happening to you?” Chiaki asks, leaning in to speak into Inori’s ear. Her hot breath lands on Inori’s neck, making all her entire body tingle in a way that is not unpleasant, but is alien to Inori.

crying at 11:12 pm just straight waterfalls down my cheeks i want to wrap this author’s version of powy in a blanket and keep her safe forever. this fic reminded me why i love CSM so much but also reminded me why i love fanfiction in general. truly a terrible beautiful heart wrenching sob worthy read.
