Momo's life falls apart and Shouto decides to help her get it back together.
"Shouto slightly tilts his head while he looks at her, like he’s thinking through what to say next. Momo closes her book, using the bookmark she made for herself at thirteen with her quirk—a thin piece of metal, the size of a playing card, with her name engraved on it. She remembers being so proud of herself for making it, and the memory almost allows her to forget that he is here. “We all miss you.”
“I know.” One thing Momo cannot say is that she is unloved. She just needs some time away to figure herself out, away from people who, though well-meaning, would tell her how to feel about it.

She tosses her hair when she changes her posturing, switching sides to observe at a different angle. Guesstimating the fluctuation of her weight.
Shikamaru catches her before she notices him walking up to the flower shop. He stops on the other side of the window, standing in her reflection, holding a brown paper bag. He scrunches his face in a teasing way and laughs, “Seriously?”

The human heart circulates blood throughout the body. Ostensibly it possesses intellect and collects wisdom. Thus it is capable of being broken without actually killing a person. Animals can also suffer from heartbreak. The breaky-archies Kory called it, noticing it in movies, stimulating conversation between humans. Heartbreak is everywhere on Earth as a universal vocabulary.
She hadn’t attributed it to grief though, and with grief being full of emotional movement, Kory is transported to multiple memories all at once.
