Yoongi lies awake in his much too large bed with his eyes fixed on the white ceiling, his thoughts plagued with a misplaced feeling of homesickness that makes him toss and turn. Taehyung is far away, he’s too far away and he hasn’t come home in a year, but Yoongi remembers the touch of his hand against his like it was merely yesterday.
There’s nothing louder than the beating of Yoongi’s heart in their city, the heart that only beats for a certain Kim Taehyung.
(Yoongi and Taehyung are 10,766 kilometers apart. They make it work.)

Yoongi takes a second to contemplate it. Being in the same room as Taehyung even with three or four more people leaves the tension so thick it can be sliced with a knife like a slab of butter, that it’s unfathomable how tense it would be if it was just the two of them. But, Yoongi needs to come up with a long-term solution before the sleeplessness kills him.
Even if the long-term solution is his ex-husband.
