Summary
“Last question, Astarion. Would you ever hurt a living thing?”
Astarion stares blankly ahead, “No. Of course not. Not unless they had it coming.”
“Astarion,” the man laughs, and slides his fingers on the glass and light. “In your present build: Would you harm a living thing?”
“No.”
“Good boy,” he smiles.
Some part of Astarion appreciates the words, even as his emotional subroutines are suppressed. He is a good boy, sometimes.

Summary
“Oh, goodness, my manners,” Gale starts, “I’m Gale Dekarios. You may have met my mother, or one of my aunts, or perhaps even my uncle. Or none of them, and they just have heard of you…” The elf tilts his head just a little. Gale continues, “At any rate. They heard you didn’t have any family coming to visit for Simril, and thought you ought to at least have something to eat.” Nevermind that it was a flimsy excuse to have Gale come talk to the most ethereal twunk in the world!
Astarion gives the foil-covered dish a skeptical look, and then gives Gale a considering look. He shrugs. “Come inside, then. You look pathetic.”
That, Gale thinks, is probably true.

Summary
This month of Marpenoth is always lively, in Waterdeep. Astarion has done his best to acclimate to all of it: to how much Gale loves the festivals and traditions, to how much their fluffy son Ran takes after Gale in this, having been born and raised here.
Waterdhavian boys, Astarion supposes, must be allowed their fun.

Summary
Tailing the man in purple for a moment, he almost loses track of him half a dozen times passing by about four shops on the market-bridge of Wyrm’s Crossing. Brown hair ducks into an alley, finally, and Astarion tucks in behind him. And gets a knife pressed to his throat against a stone wall.
Astarion raises his hands in surrender, “Now, now, let’s not be hasty.” Shocking Grasp is sparking beneath his skin, should the man make an untoward move. It should buy him enough time to flee, coppers a lost cause.
The rogue looks at him, searching for something, and then sighs. Some of the pressure of the dagger eases up. “I suppose you want your purse back.”
“Was it pathetic?” Astarion asks mildly. He knows that it was.
