Summary
"Jayce is a smart man. Maybe not in the ways that actually matter—he’s always been a terrible son, and he’s probably been a worse partner—but he has book smarts, at least. He has academics in the bag. And, with all of his intellect, all of his learned ways, the only plausible explanation that he can muster in his sleep-addled brain for Viktor to send such a thing to him of all people is that Viktor is sick, either physically or mentally, and that he is somehow about to die."
Jayce gets a worrying text out of the blue from his former partner and rushes to be by his side. In other words: two ridiculously stubborn men realize how silly they've both been, and come to a new understanding of themselves and each other. There is also a cat.

John wanted his voice to be trustworthy. He wanted to be trusted, as little as he deserved it. (Fucking Kayne. Fuck him and his deal.)
John wanted Arthur to trust him. He wanted to be loved.Arthur can't see Faroe's eyes anymore. In fact, he will never see her eyes again. For the time being, his own are the closest he can get, and he can't see those, either. But maybe John can help.

It didn’t matter the topic, didn’t matter that John was trying to make amends, trying to be better, wanting to be better, desperately—even going so far as to try to apologize, to really apologize, to Arthur. It didn’t fucking matter, but that was fine. That was okay. They were fucking trapped there together, and John was going to make it work for the both of them if it killed him.
John is still trying to get used to humanity, to being a part of Arthur Lester. To making mistakes and paying for them. To being John Doe.
He doesn't make it easy on himself.

Summary
(On indefinite hiatus for the time being)
Nearing the end of his long life, Bilbo Baggins is ready for another adventure. So, with his nephew and his friends by his side, he sails from the Grey Havens, ready to face whatever might come next.
It's just that he really wasn't expecting "whatever might come next" to mean that he would be sent back in time to just before the journey to Erebor.
In a world where Bilbo has already lived his life through once before, he must decide how to navigate the quest, from trying to keep his friends safe to trying to alter the course of the future to trying to manage his once-again blossoming feelings for a certain dwarf (who unfortunately no longer remembers a time when he didn't completely loathe Bilbo).

Jon isn't human anymore. He made his Choice, and he Became. It doesn't matter. It's too late. But it's not too late for him to love Martin, even if it's too late for him to ever be loved in return. Jon made himself into a Monster, and there's nothing he can do about any of it now.
Or: Jon is wrong about many, many things.

Summary
Martin had spent three decades doing nothing but losing everything he cared about. But he’d spent the last three weeks, apparently, gaining everything he wanted most. Jon was… everything. He was a surprisingly clingy person to be dating, and a surprisingly soft person to love, especially considering all of his sharp edges. His elbows. His sharp wit. His sharp jaw. Ha! Martin was going insane and he’d never, ever been happier in his entire life. And now, he and Jon had been invited to a party.
So they’d grabbed a bag of corn chips, a jar of salsa, and had put on their least destroyed, damaged, marked, or otherwise un-party-like outfits, and had walked past the pastures to a neighborhood party in a stranger’s backyard.

Summary
Crowley, who had once been Crawly, who had once been Ramiel (though he no longer remembered that name), had been alive for around 6,000 years, give or take. He'd seen so much, experienced seemingly everything the world had to offer; beyond that, he'd been around for what he considered the very best of Heaven, and the very worst of Hell.
Crowley had been an angel once, and then he had burned.

Summary
The thing about Jon was that people didn't tend to like him. It was something he'd always known about himself, and something he'd made peace with, even if it occasionally hurt more than he was willing to admit. But it was alright, it was fine, really. He'd rather just be in his own company, anyways. It was the best option for everyone involved.
So why, then, had he been invited to an office Halloween party? Why was he actually considering going to it? And why did he get so nervous whenever he thought about Martin?
"Because it's important to have cordial relations with coworkers in the workplace," Jon lied to himself.
