Summary
Stalling, Agatha’s mind continued to wander as she thought back to thirty minutes ago, when she’d agreed to this, swept up in the feral sweetness of Rio’s lips and teeth against her throat, overcome by her homecoming as usual. An overripe whisper of, “Do you trust me?” that made both of them laugh and laugh.
Unfortunately for Agatha, Rio was in her veins, as much a part of her as the eldritch power humming and alive through her blood and marrow. Trust was inconsequential.

Agatha leaned in to connect their lips, her breath fanning over Rio’s mouth.
‘Agatha.’ Rio spoke carefully.
Agatha paused, taking in the subtle change in Rio’s face, black eyes clearing with the need to say something. She never called her Agatha unless it was something serious.
‘Hmm?’ she murmured, distracted eyes falling again to Rio’s lips.
‘That,’ Rio whispered, barely audible.
Agatha swayed forward, drawn like a magnet to her mouth.
‘That boy isn’t yours.’ Rio said firmly, softening the blow with a gentle raise of her eyebrows. Her hand stroked up and down Agatha’s arm where she was gripping her wrists to comfort her. Agatha drew back hesitantly, eyes betraying her sadness. The sadness she covered all day long.
OR
rewrite of the almost-kiss :) if I was writing that show we'd all be eating so good ... it would also be 18+ and probably banned in several countries, now with chap 2 which is a finale fix-it !
