Long hair weaved through one of her hands. The other laid gripping at the arm of a leather brace. Sulfur and iron filled her nose. Quiet, labored breathing only filled the room now that the storm ceased, inside and out. She forced her sight to come through, and looked down to her lap to see tangled strands of gold shining through the dim of the night effortlessly.
