Summary
Upon receiving some worrying news, Remus Lupin must reach out and ask for help from his estranged ex.
(set in vaguely contemporary today-time. The idea for this was to explore what a semi-realistic non-magical, less high stakes version of a post-azakaban sirius/remus would be like, adapting so no war and betrayal and wrongful imprisonment, but James and Lilly still died and they couldn't cope, their relationship fell apart. We meet them "post azkaban" aka a decade later).

Their bubbling discontent had been directly correlated with the fact that, after years of quiet office research and paper pushing with Hermione, Remus wanted to be back in the field. Restless and haunted, frustrated with the molasses crawl of government initiatives, Remus had wanted to do more. Wanted to prove he still could.
Sirius, quietly content with their happy little life, wanted him to do significantly less.

Summary
Remus looked like he was seconds away from pouncing on him as if Sirius was a tiny rabbit meant to be hunted down as prey. If he was Padfoot, he would have crawled low to the ground, protecting his belly, and tucked his nose between his paws.
Except there was something else in those golden eyes, an elation, a hunger that would eventually be satisfied, anticipation in its purest form. Sirius was the beloved turning to run from his lover, he was to be chased, caught, and consumed. Though Remus had caught him long ago, allowing other men to take him was all part of Remus’s consummation.

Remus watches a handful of other men have sex with Sirius.
