Summary
Hizashi was never one to do anything by halves, so, really, the whole vampire twist on top of everything else kind of made sense, in an oblique sort of way. Truthfully, Shouta didn't pay much attention to that kind of thing, nor did he care. As far as he was concerned, Hizashi was Hizashi: Shouta’s boisterous, sometimes (often) overly-loud whirlwind of a roommate and close friend of over fifteen years.
And possibly also the target of some less-than-strictly-platonic feelings on Shouta’s end, but that was neither here nor there.

Summary
Hizashi has always wanted to know what the Thanksgiving feast he's seen in American media tastes like, begging Shouta to indulge him year after year without success. Yet, somehow, well into winter, far past the holiday, one sarcastic comment from Shouta plunges him into a day spent with his sleeves rolled up in the kitchen.
He supposes it's not so bad, in the end, when the warm feeling of good company spreads through his body, and one look at an old wedding photograph catapults him back to the day he'd told the boisterous blond, "I do."

The shudders running through his body are not from nerves or discomfort, but from excitement, anticipation as it seems Hizashi is finally ready to move on to what Shouta had whispered in the blond’s ear as they’d laid down for bed. The words he’d licked up the back of Hizashi’s neck, the few, tiny syllables that had fallen out as he’d nibbled at Hizashi’s ear.

Summary
Yamada Hizashi is doing exactly what he's always wanted to do with his life—running his own preschool and daycare. Even though it's small, it's his and he knows he's good at what he does.
Then, Aizawa Shouta, an underground pro hero, enrolls his adoptive son, four year-old Shinsou Hitoshi, a boy who's been kicked out of every other daycare and school he's been put in since the development of his brainwashing quirk. Hizashi is more than happy to have him in his school, especially since Hizashi was born with a 'dangerous' quirk himself, and he quickly finds out that he has a soft spot for this kid and a serious liking towards his father that he has to learn to deal with.

Summary
When the blond steps in front of him, Shouta decides patience isn’t a virtue after all.
Shouta quickly straightens up, grabbing Hizashi’s collar, and yanks him down. The other man stumbles a bit, his eyes going wide, before their lips crash together. A small sting of pain shoots through Shouta’s face as Hizashi’s teeth smack into his, but they both recover quickly, mouths opening up, tongues diving in, and Hizashi’s hand snaking around the back of Shouta’s head to stroke lovingly at the small hairs at the nape of his neck. Shouta hums into the kiss, tilting his head to deepen it.
He’d missed this.
He’s missed this so much.

Summary
Hizashi doesn’t notice, too caught up in his own work. His glasses are sliding down his nose, and his hair is beginning to fall free of its loose bun. The tip of his tongue pokes out the side of his mouth as he does his calculations, and Shouta is suddenly overcome with the desire to hold onto this moment forever. He’s not sure why it feels so urgent - they’ve spent a thousand nights like this. There are thousands more ahead of them, with any luck at all. But something about the way Hizashi looks right now feels fleeting and precious, like the blink of a firefly.
Shouta shoves the paper in front of him forward until Hizashi looks up. “You know, if we got married, we might qualify for a tax break.”
