Summary
Finishing another lap around the perimeter of the Hungry Hermits underground, Tango wanders past the front wall, where his shulkers have been left, and spots a familiar name tag through the wall. Etho’s making his way down through the lobby.
Tango’s surprised to see him here—the last he heard Etho was still working on his base area. Why Etho would use his limited final time on the server to come talk to Tango, he had no idea.

It’s their last night on Hermitcraft Season 10. Etho gives Tango a visit in the noodles, and a little base tour.

“Oh, I uh–” Tango reaches to rub the back of his neck, suddenly self-conscious. “I guess I haven’t had time to touch it up, being busy with the end of the season and all that."
“It looks good.” Etho hopes it sounds genuine, he’s never good at this. As an afterthought, he adds, “I didn’t know your hair was actually brown.”

“Joel, you’ve gotta tell him.”
Joel’s getting really tired of this ongoing argument. “Gem, I’m not going to tell him, and you telling me to isn’t gonna change my mind.”
Gem folds her elbows on the table, then rests her chin on her forearms. “You’re really serious about him. You got serious about him really fast.”
Well, yeah. Joel’s been half in love with Bdubs for at least eight years. But Gem already knows that, and there’s no way he’s going to say it out loud. “I’m still not gonna tell him.”
“I just don’t get why,” Pearl interjects. “You’re happy to talk about both of our careers.”
Joel rolls his eyes, setting down his pencil and tipping his head back to stare at the ceiling. “You’re both impressive. I’m proud of you.”
Gem’s brow furrows. “Are you not proud of your career, Joel?”

Summary
“Sorry about this, man.”
It was all the warning Etho got before Tango’s hand reached up, hitting the side of Etho’s mask directly on the button that forced it to detach from his face. There wasn’t time to think, not with those people after them, so as soon as the mask was pulled away from his face, Etho was already leaning in.
It was kind-of embarrassing how many times Tango and Etho found themselves in this situation.
