'The day turned to night, and the stars shone, the lights dancing in the soft waves. A calmness fell over Keith. A calmness he could only obtain on the deck of this small ship, in the presence of his brother. He felt at peace. As Keith's eyes slowly started to close, ready to fall into slumber, he heard a voice. One of the prettiest voices to ever grace his ears. His eyes shot open, his body responding to the soft and low song. He was up on his feet, rushing to the bow of the ship, hoping this would help him hear better.
“Do you hear that?” Keith asked Shiro, who looked like he was already asleep.
“Go to sleep, Keith,” Shiro mumbled, and then he promptly let out a small snore.
Keith rolled his eyes at his brothers' dismissal, but curiosity kept him awake. The song filled his ears, leaving goosebumps across his skin. As each note came, the need to seek out the being behind it overcame any logical thoughts. Without thinking things through, Keith took one last look at the crew, checking they were all asleep, and took one of their small rowing boats.'
Or Keith hears a beautiful song and follows it, comes across a Selkie for the first time, and is flooded with how hot he is.

Keith stared into the neon purple concoction and wondered if it would be his death sentence.
“Shiro,” he said out of the corner of his mouth. “I can’t drink this.”
“Why?” Shiro asked through his smile.
Keith glanced over to where Lance was asking if any of the Xaligas had heard of bendy straws. The aliens, as per usual, were enchanted by him.
“Because,” Keith’s teeth were locked shut to keep from chattering. “It might cause an intergalactic incident.”
Shiro’s eyes widened ever so slightly. “That’s a good reason.”When the gang is served a truth serum by an untrusting group of aliens, Keith is forced to reveal a rather inconvenient secret. This is bothersome, considering half of the galaxy is in love with Lance.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to have the two fighting for the champion title on Lionfall share one Q&A at the convention was not doing it for the teamspirit and was praying for their downfall. Lance, or as people knew him as SharpShooter was not the golden retriever boy his fangirls made him out to be. He was a complete full fledged fucking douchebag. And it was just Keith’s fucking luck that he had to share a room with said douchebag for the duration of the convention weekend. This was now either to kill or be killed and if Keith were to end up on the news for a scandal, he was determined to walk out of this being the victor.
