“Children?” Robert echoes. “Have you notified the parents?”
“Yeah…” Her nose wrinkles into a worried expression he’s never seen on her face before. It’s as if she’s trying to find a way to tactfully work around what she’s going to say next, which Robert takes as a bad sign for worse news.
Oh, yeah. Now, he’s genuinely worried.
“...And?”
“Well…” Mandy says slowly. She hesitates, as if picking several different ways to phrase the unthinkable before settling with: “They, uh. They named you.”

“I’m trying!” Steven cries out loud, his voice pitching high as another contraction twists his core into a literal knot. This is happening way too fast, like waves crashing over him before he can even stand up. He closes his eyes tight, trying to recede, trying to hand over the reins like they’ve done a thousand times before, but he’s pinned to the front by the sheer intensity of his fear. It’s acting like glue, fusing him to the driver’s seat. “Marc, I can’t—it won’t let me go!”
Their body is a riot of adrenaline right now, a biological storm where all functions are focused on bringing this baby into the world. At the same time, they both realise with a sinking horror that the ‘switch’ is stuck.

Seriously, we’re gonna go a full 18-hours, underpaid, no lunch break, and no 15-minute breaks in between each four-hours. Better hydrate now, because we’re going to Pound Town.”
Logan snorts, shaking his head while he washes his hands.
“Why haven’t we used the new kitchen table yet?” Wade demands, squinting at the kitchen table with disgust.
“Because we broke the last one.”
“Oh.”
Or, Wade actually is Marvel Jesus and breaks the laws of biology, bc his breeding kink game is too strong.
