Summary
“Okay. Ready when you are,” Jiwoo says, hopefully breaking the tension. She hears her voice waver, her nerves seeping through. Jinsol smiles at her, either not noticing or not caring.
Jiwoo slings her bag over her shoulder and zips up her jacket as Jinsol starts walking towards the exit, assuming that Jiwoo will follow. Jiwoo, of course, does.
However, when they finally reach the elevator, Jinsol drops an earth-shattering bomb:
“Yoona is waiting downstairs. She’ll walk with us, if that’s okay.”

Summary
A comfortable silence falls over the two of them as the movie keeps playing. Yoona thinks she could die happy like this, Jiwoo curled up into her.
“Someone asked me out at work,” Jiwoo whispers.
The silence shatters around Yoona at the confession, her heart shattering along with it. She was hoping this day would never come again, though she knew it was inevitable. -

Summary
“I'll be back before dinner.”
Jiwoo then feels a hand brush her hair behind her ear, fingertips warm and soft. The sound of Yoona's jacket folding follows, the sound near her head. Then, there's a light kiss on her forehead.
“I'll see you later, Jjyu,” Yoona whispers against her skin before leaving.
So, that's new. -

Summary
“Hey,” Yoona says, walking up to Jiwoo with a smile after all the introductions are done. “I'm Seol Yoona. I went to the same university studying computer science as well. I'm sorry to ask this, but have we met each other before? You just look so familiar.”
A slight blush blooms on Jiwoo's face at the question as she stammers, wordless. That's when it hits Yoona.
She looks exactly like an old classmate of Yoona's.

Summary
“Jiwoo, do you like Jinsol?”
Jiwoo, who was still practicing, halted in the middle of her movement, almost tripping over her own feet.
“What?” Jiwoo squeaked out. “No.”
What a liar.

Jiwoo quickly taps the sticker on.
And Yoona looks right at her.
No, not at the reading girl. At Jiwoo. -

Summary
Standing in front of Jiwoo is a beautiful woman, dressed in a dark yet stunning blue dress. Jiwoo thinks she can't be much older than herself. Her face is young and full of life - with the exception of her oddly pale skin. Another thought hits her as she takes in the woman's face: she looks oddly familiar. It's a thought that constricts her heart for reasons unknown to her.
The woman has a calm smile when she first stands, but it falters when her eyes meet Jiwoo's. It's only for a split second, but Jiwoo notices it. As quickly as it comes, it leaves, being replaced by a much warmer and happier smile.
“It's you,” the woman says, eyes shining. She almost sounds breathless.
“Yes,” Jiwoo nods. “I'm Kim Jiwoo.”

Summary
“You're not real,” Jiwoo says angrily between tears.
The girl lifts herself out of the water and onto the rock. Her dolphin half is still there, much to Jiwoo's dismay.
“But I am real,” the girl says back. “My name is Yoona.”

Summary
Yoona's fine with this, she's fine the way they are, really. But sometimes, she feels the green flame burn within her chest, rearing its ugly head.
Like right now.

Summary
Yoona had hoped that her screen was off by the time that Jinsol picked it up, but judging from Jinsol's face, that was not the case. Jinsol looks down at the screen with amusement, looking at the blank message thread between Yoona and Jiwoo and the lonely ‘heyyy’ sitting unsent in the text box.
“Oh my god,” Jinsol laughs, walking over to hand the phone back to Yoona. “This is why you were so bothered!”

Summary
Their elbows brush against each other and Yoona has half the mind to try to ‘accidentally’ knock their knees together. Maybe she should ‘accidentally’ brush her hand against Jiwoo's somehow. Or perhaps ‘accidentally' lean in too close when asking a question.
But Jiwoo has a boyfriend - she should back off.
Unfortunately for Yoona, Jiwoo having a boyfriend only makes her want her more. She wants to show Jiwoo how much better she can treat her. She wants to show Jiwoo how much better she can touch her. She wants to show Jiwoo that she's wrong.

“What's the name for the order?”
“Lily.”
“Lily,” Haewon repeats, writing the name on a label.
“Yes,” Lily leans over, squinting at Haewon's shirt, “Haewon.”
“Uh,” Haewon looks up, not expecting to hear her name from the cute girl's mouth. She likes the way that it sounds. Maybe her lack of sleep is getting to her.

Summary
Yoona only has a few minutes until the next class, but she's so bored. Can’t she just get one break? She opens her desk drawer, hoping to magically find some sort of device that will distract her from her woes. What she finds instead is a love letter. To her.
This is not the first time this has happened. Yoona sighs thinking about how she's going to have to call someone's parents. She opens the pale pink envelope and takes out the letter. She skips to the end to see who it's from.
There's a problem. There's no signature. Yoona flips the page over, hoping to find a clue to who left it behind on the back of the paper. It's blank. Yoona thinks she might be in hell.

Summary
“How are you finding Yoona-unnie as a roommate?” Kyujin asks.
Kyujin and Jiwoo are currently sitting on her bed, decorating their nails. Kyujin's trying to finish up Jiwoo's nails but Jiwoo keeps getting distracted.
“Good! She's quiet, which I like, and sometimes she even brings home little gifts for me.”
“What! She never brought home gifts for me,” Kyujin complains.
“I guess she likes me more than you,” Jiwoo teases, wiggling in her seat.

“You know what this means!”
Yoona tilted her head in confusion. Jiwoo held up the box like she was presenting it at a game show.
“Pepero Game!!” -

Summary
That's when she notices it. Something hard to describe, something she's never felt before. It felt like Jiwoo was pulling her closer - not physically, mind you - more like a star approaching a black hole. She could hear her heartbeat in her ears. Wait, that doesn't sound like-
"What are you chuckling to yourself about?"
