Dinner?!
Shadow Milk really didn't want to go through all that trouble today… but how could he possibly say no when Pure Vanilla looked so happy just to spend time with him?

“So, that’s my type.” Lucille peers at CB. “Do you have a type, CB?”
“I don’t know,” he says after a moment of hesitation. “I guess I would just want her to be friendly, smart… pretty,” he adds, feeling faintly awkward. “She’d really care about me. If I was upset, or if we had an argument and we made up she’d hug me and call me… poor, sweet baby or something.”
“Poor, sweet baby?!” Lucille exclaims. He looks down at his feet.
“I know it’s stupid,” he mumbles.
“I don’t think it’s stupid to want somebody who would care about you,” Beethoven says suddenly.
___
