Summary
Mobius's patience runs out, and in his eagerness to close the gap he mashes his nose and jaw into Loki's, making Loki wince. Mobius pulls back, cringing. "Sorry, sorry didn't do that right—" he mumbles, seeming ready to give up just from that, but Loki grabs his tie, tugs him closer again.
"Can…can we try again?" Loki whispers, trying and failing to sound normal about any of this, to act like someone who doesn't want this far more than they probably should.
Mobius inhales, seems to sense the shaky desperation in Loki's voice even as Loki does his best to smooth out the ripples. "—Okay."

Summary
In Stede’s fantasies, this moment has been… soft. Tender. Planned, probably. A quiet, private dinner, maybe a bath, definitely a lot of candles.
And, perhaps, without having recently murdered someone.Started as an examination of Stede's emotions and motivations between killing Ned Low and sharing half-eaten toast with Ed, with the intention of being fairly angsty, filled with miscommunication and unaligned goals. But these two got caring and communicative against my will, so please enjoy the tonal shift as they fall into alignment. Ed can have his angst tomorrow; they're having a lovely time tonight.

Summary
Aziraphale has read every book in his shop at least once. He has reread some of his favored volumes dozens of times, has memorized whole great swaths of them. If his own words are insufficient to convince Crowley of his sincerity, then perhaps the words of others can!
(He might have the decency to ask the books what they thought of this plan. The books had been watching the two of them for over a hundred years, and certainly had a great deal to say on the matter. But Aziraphale neglects to consult them, and thus will be very unprepared for what happens next.)
Back on earth, Aziraphale tries to apologize.

Stede Bonnet’s life took an unexpected turn when he was arrested on two counts of first-degree murder.
But the surprises didn't end there. His cellmate was the notoriously violent bank robber, Blackbeard.
It would take all of their combined cunning, and quite a bit of luck, to formulate and execute an escape plan.
But first, Stede thought, something really needed to be done about the quality of the prison uniforms.
