Summary
This version of the comic, rewritten in the form of a book, follows Hollywood Undead's members as they discover a deep conspiracy: all across Los Angeles, people are acting unnaturally happy and compliant. People in the counterculture are suddenly fitting into society, finding square jobs and loving them. Is it clones? Robots? Alien replacements? The crew discovers that in reality, it's a system of mental and physical alteration, funded by a powerful tech mogul-turned city councilman. And what's more, the "victims" aren't victims at all- they're undergoing the process voluntarily. But our guys won't stand for that. They work to destroy the facility, assisted by like-minded people from across the city.

(this is a sequel to Legends, so I suggest you read that first)
The bridge of black rocks she had created to reach this place crumbled behind her. She didn’t want anyone else to find out where she had gone. The only other person she wanted on her side could get here the same way. Whether he would do so, however, remained to be seen. He might still side with his hero friends. Wouldn’t that be a disappointment?
He wouldn’t want to stay with them once he remembered what they’d done.
She reached back and grabbed the spear off her back in both hands. Her dragon gazed at it, electric sparks flying from his eyes in excitement. She grinned.
She had a Great Dragon to kill.

“What did they look like?” Dylan prompted.
The other three whirled around when a huge gust of wind sent their fire dancing. Another gust blew over them and the fire flickered out, leaving them in darkness. Four huge scaly paws touched the ground, sending up clouds of dirt and old ashes. Two large wings blocked out the moon, attached to the monstrous silhouette of a dragon. Its light blue eyes glared down at them, practically glowing in the darkness. White spikes trailed down its spine, and sitting between two of the spikes on the beast’s neck was a man. It was difficult to see him because he was so high up, but in his hands was a set of reins that were tied to the dragon’s horns.
Jordon stared in shock at the creature. “Like that,” he whispered.Series
