Summary
Struggling through a strange, hostile town while attempting to locate the President’s missing daughter, Leon begins to doubt his ability to complete this mission. He's never been able to save the people he's cared about before. The people he's cared about have never bothered to stay before. He’s very aware attachments only exist to break his heart. So why then, does he find himself growing closer with the smooth-talking Luis Serra? It’s bound to end in disaster, especially when one of you are shackled and not really sticking around voluntarily.
Aka. What if Luis and Leon stuck together after the chain scene? How would such a simple, single event change things?

Luis turns out to be a better guy than he had originally assumed him to be, with his cocky attitude and his obnoxious nicknames... and his warmth, and kindness.OR

"Mista!" He shouted as he ran, hoping to god he hadn't followed him down this hall. Mista rounded a good fifty meters ahead, gun drawn and pointed back down over Giorno's shoulder, looking for the threat. Giorno waved him back wildly. "Mista, run! It's a bomb!"
In which Giorno gets hit by a bomb and can't fight, and the boys have to try to survive a week without their healer.

Mista hummed in acknowledgement. „Not sure how to feel about it being my birthday today. It's gonna be the last year of my twenties,” he said, taking the subject half-seriously.

Annoyed that everything seemed to work against him, he lifted his head and turned to the source of the sound. He froze, his stomach dropped, and all the wind got knocked out from his lungs. A pair of eyes were boring into at him, looking just as bewildered as he was, and he quickly shifted his gaze onto the window to see his reflection.

Aemond Targaryen remembered the first time he felt it as if it were still new – freshly positioned in the front of his mind, a continuous rotating image that would never leave. It became harder to ignore after he lost his eye to Lucerys, as if the stitching enclosed it. He had lost an eye and gained a dragon but didn’t mention to his mother how his hunger for his sister grew stronger in that moment. It rumbled in his bones, growled in his heart, and he remembered how it felt to want everything.
