Summary
The Paladin fell silent for a moment. “But tell me one thing. How is it possible that in this world, young Michael is not in love with you? I assumed we would be soulmates in every realm.”
That question was a sharp knife to Will’s heart. How could he possibly know? It wasn’t something he could control or change. Of course, there were times when Will had held some hope for reciprocity, but eventually, all his dreams had simply fallen apart. Mike had a girlfriend. Mike wasn’t a mistake like him.
“I don’t know…” Will whispered.
“Maybe his heart is sleeping,” the Paladin said. “You must wake him with your touch. Take his hand and speak with your heart.”or
