Dear Celia;
I don't use this word lightly, but I will use it now:
Masterpiece.
Let me tell you why I want to name your story as such: Because of the fact that in writing this story, you are actually saying, to all readers, "I care about you. I love you. You deserve good, no--great--things." And I feel the story as a love letter to the reader; it is a permission slip for her to experience pleasure, to vocalize what she wants, to accept her experiences, her body, her history.
Or maybe we know someone in our lives who doesn't feel like they do deserve great things. And then, in this story, we are Ben--aching for that other person to realize that they should have what they want.
And so, by describing a scenerio about someone who doesn't leave the other, you've transcended the words on the metaphorical page, and written something symbolic and healing.
All this to say -- well done! Thank you! I felt the care and artistry with every sentence.

This was really beautiful! I didn't expect to say that about a story from a Porg's point of view, but this truly was. The adoration he feels towards Mom and Dad, but the neglect he gets after the baby. :/ I really really liked this new point of view!

Desperate for connection, she befriends the only other person at a political event who looks as miserable as she is: Ben Solo. Unfortunately, his mother is running for president against Sheev.
As Rey and Ben's relationship heats up, the star-crossed lovers run the risk of getting caught... and losing everything.

This was a LOVELY one-shot. It had some incredible tension, warm emotional moments, and absolutely satisfying characterization! I love political stories about Ben and Rey; I think they're incredibly reminiscent of canon in so many ways, with Leia's public life.

The house is pretty secluded, there's no service, no internet, no way to reach other people aside from the landline in the living-room.
