nounA whip stitch is a simple sewing stitch that is used in crocheting, knitting and sewing, in which the needle is passed in and out of the fabric in a series of stitches that circle an edge of the fabric. Whip stitching creates a nice edge, and prevents the fabric from unraveling.
Or, Karl begins to feel as though he is fraying at the edges. Becoming softer, less sharp. But with Nick, his perfect needle, maybe that isn’t so bad.

All that mattered was that George kept looking at him, kept touching him, kept giving him what he needed so badly it was like a hole in his chest when George wasn’t there. Just him, always him, and the privilege of letting him take as much as he wanted.

He sends a silent prayer to the dunes, hoping the sandworms are hungry tonight. If he gets eaten, he doesn’t have to think about why Vash looking mildly content is enough to set his nerves on fire.

They’re living off the wasteland, cheap bounties, and borrowed time. Still, at the end of it all, Wolfwood stays.

“Maybe he trusts your judgement,” Quackity suggests. “Or… Maybe he just likes having a handsome face hangin’ around at all these stupid things with him.”
“Will you guys drop that?” Sapnap bites. “Karl doesn’t– we aren’t like that. We’re friends, and he’s the prince.”
George’s smile twists into a suggestive smirk. “So… If he wasn’t the prince..?”
He blinks. His face feels hot again. “Drop it,” he mutters. "He doesn't like me like that."
Or,
Sapnap's life would be so much easier if Karl hadn't asked him to help him find someone to marry. It would also be easier if he hadn't fallen in love with the prince somewhere along the way.

Summary
The thing about Karl is, he spreads his love around like it's nothin'. He's an affectionate guy, more likely to pull you into a hug and plant one on your cheek than he is to shake your hand, and Sapnap has first hand experience of this exact thing.
And the thing about Sapnap is, he's possessive. It isn't a trait he likes in himself, or admires, it just is what it is. He guards the things he cares about fiercely, doesn't like folks messing with the stuff he considers to be his.
These two things are often at odds.Or, Karl kisses everyone and Sapnap is jealous
