“You look beautiful,” it came after a moment of silence. Eiji chuckled again, still not looking at Shorter.
He knew, deep down, he had dressed up and tried to look pretty just a bit, just enough for things to be different, for Shorter to maybe spare him a glance before alcohol made him do it. But Eiji wouldn’t admit it in a million years, and it hadn’t worked anyways — Shorter was drunk and staring at him with those vulnerable eyes that Eiji knew were reserved just to him, so instead, he rolled his eyes and said, “Is this you or the alcohol speaking?”
Eiji wished Shorter was sober.

Dealing with the Adlers, it turns out, is much like getting dive bombed by a chaotic, volleyball obsessed, screeching eagle at all hours of the day.
Maybe he’s exaggerating, but he doubts it. At the very least, Kageyama, when paired with Hinata in the same house is an instrument of torture for everyone involved.
“I don’t know how they have the energy for that,” Atsumu says from beside Kiyoomi, two days into their stay with the Adlers, while they watch the two former Karasuno players compete to get to the kitchen first, shoving and slapping at each other in the doorway.
He says it like he is any less of a demonic entity created from Kiyoomi’s worst nightmares.
In which the MSBY Black Jackals sharehouse catches fire, the Schweiden Adlers take them in, and Kiyoomi somehow starts sleeping with the guy he kissed once in highschool.

Summary
Kiyoomi isn't ashamed to admit that he's never dated anyone before.
The problem is that the question came from Miya Atsumu—Kiyoomi’s irritating adversary turned unexpected companion—who had just answered the same. “Fuck,” Satoru wheezes.
Suguru brings men home and Satoru wonders if, judging by the pangs in his chest and the sudden overwhelming urge to punt these hookups into the sun, he’s homophobic. They figure things out slowly.
