    Liu Qingge has dashed himself against the rocks of Shen Qingqiu’s obliviousness for years by the point he decides he needs to switch his tactics. When the infuriatingly wonderful peak lord suggests they bring an obscure autumn festival to the mountain, Liu Qingge seizes on the opportunity to use the festivities as an excuse to make Shen Qingqiu see him differently. This leads to a surprising amount of time admiring each other’s hair and then eventually solving an escape room together. These activities are unrelated.

    AKA: “What would have happened if Shen Qingqiu picked the Treat Route?”

    You don’t have to have read the previous story to enjoy this one. (Though reading at least the first two chapters will give you more background on what’s going on since LQG doesn’t care enough to pay much attention to anything but supporting SQQ’s happiness.)

    When Shen Qingqiu is gloomy over the upcoming Endless Abyss storyline, System offers him a Limited Time Event opportunity. His quest: host a Halloween celebration! On the line are bonus B-points, special prizes, and the possibility that Binghe will decide not to burn down the mountain one day. It's an opportunity that's too good to resist! ...Suspicious, but still, if he can collect enough B-points, maybe he won't have to shove his little white sheep into the Abyss, right?

    To his surprise, it's not just Qing Jing Peak that gets interested in the event. Between setting things up, choosing costumes for his favorite people, and bullying System, Shen Qingqiu ends up spending a lot of extra time with Liu Qingge. He begins to look forward to "Hallow Evening" and what the night might bring.

    Shen Qingqiu, his lovely cheeks stained red, carefully takes the mysterious flower from his hands. His eyes sparkle, and Liu Qingge’s breath is punched out of him. Liu Qingge doesn’t know what’s so special about it, but if flowers get that kind of reaction from him, then he would gladly uproot a whole meadow just to see that smile again.

    “I accept.”

    It’s a flower, and nothing more. But Shen Qingqiu looks at him like he’s brought the greatest gift of all.

    Shen Qingqiu manages to change his foretold fate by saving Liu Qingge in the Ling Xi caves. Unfortunately, the cultivation world is a lot less happy about this than Shen Qingqiu would have hoped.

    This might have to do with the fact that the Liu Qingge who Shen Qingqiu saved is not quite human.

    The instant he turned to dash into the fight, Liu Qingge froze as he saw Not Shen Qingqiu standing coolly over one unconscious thug, guqin in both hands and still in a pose that clearly showed he had, in fact, just bludgeoned someone with the end of his guqin. Not Shen Qingqiu smirked and tilted his head back cockily.

    LQG finds SY running away from a sticky situation and brings him back to Cang Qiong in hopes that he can keep the man from getting himself mugged. SY is just relieved he doesn’t have to pretend to be a girl anymore.
